PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a blood transfusion without mistaking the blood type of a patient to receive the blood transfusion and the blood type of blood to be used for the blood transfusion. SOLUTION: In this method, the correspondence relation of the blood type and a specified color is determined beforehand and blood type display 26 is performed to a blood pack 21 at the time of giving the blood transfusion by the color corresponding to the blood type. The blood type display 27 is performed to the patient 24 by the color as well. It is confirmed that the color of the blood type display 26 of the blood pack 21 and the color of the blood type display 27 of the patient 24 match and the blood transfusion is given. Thus, an accident by the mistake of the blood type is prevented. |
