摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for an outboard motor that reduces engine vibration. SOLUTION: This outboard motor has a crankshaft 4 approximately perpendicularly positioned within an engine 3 placed on an engine holder 2 mounted to a hull via a mounting device 6, and the torque of the crankshaft 4 is transmitted to a propulsion device via a driveshaft 10. In this case, the axis of the driveshaft 10 is offset from the axis of the crankshaft 4 toward the rear of the outboard motor, and a pair of right and left mount holding parts 58 are formed within the engine holder 2 near the center of gravity CG of the outboard motor. A mounting unit 21 is inserted into the mount holding parts 58 from in front of the engine holder 2, and the driveshaft 10 is passed between the mount holding parts 58. The mount holding parts 58 are formed up to the position farthest from the protective wall 60 of the driveshaft 10.
