PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-phosphorus coolant composition which contains a phosphate and exhibits the excellent effects of the phosphate while satisfactorily alleviating the defects thereof. SOLUTION: This composition contains a glycol as a main ingredient and, in addition, contains (A) 0.1-5.0 wt.% at least one compound selected from among 6-12C aliphatic dibasic acids and their alkali metal salts, (B) 0.1-10 wt.% at least one compound selected from among alkylbenzoic acids and their alkali metal salts, (C) 0.001-0.1 wt.% at least one compound selected from among strontium compounds and their alkali metal salts, and (D) 0.1-0.3 wt.% at least one compound selected from among phosphoric acid and its alkali metal salts. |
