<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a metal in the water to be treated by using a carbon fiber capable of removing a metal, especially, iron or manganese dissolved in water. SOLUTION: In a water cleaning apparatus, oxygen, metal ion oxidizing bacteria and carbon fibers 6 are allowed to coexist in water 1 to be treated to bond a metal dissolved in water 1 to be treated to the surfaces of the carbon fibers to clean water. In this case, a mechanism for dissolving oxygen in water 1 to be treated, a mechanism for allowing metal ion oxidizing bacteria to be present and a mechanism for immersing the carbon fibers in water 1 to be treated are included.</p> |
