PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rip off bales and refuse bags, to expose contents, to surely rip off and rip up the bags without fail in spite of the intrusion of hard materials or conversely in spite of the pliable refuse bags, to minimize the damage to knife blades, to enhance the durability of a bag rupturing machine, to enable continuous operation and to ease maintenance. SOLUTION: This bag rupturing machine 1 comprises a casing 20 which has an inlet 21 housing a supply end 12 of a conveyor 11 and accepting the supply of the bales and the refuse-containing bags B on one flank and has an outlet 22 for discharging the opened and disintegrated bales, the ruptured bags and the emitted and disintegrated refuse at the bottom on an opposite side, a main rotor 30 which is horizontally installed and born rotatably therein and is rotatably driven by a motor M1 so as to circumferentially rotate from below to above in the inlet side, shark teeth-shaped bag rupturing knife blades 36 and 37 which are disposed in a plurality on a rotor peripheral surface 30A and an endless track means 41 of a retaining member disposed attachably and detachably to and from the main rotor 30 in the upper part on the inlet side and the outlet side, and a driven roller 45. |
