PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel lining method by plate framework, capable of minimizing the generation of ground subsidence or upheaval in constructing a tunnel below a railroad, road, or the like. SOLUTION: This method of constructing a lining wall partitioning a tunnel cross section before the excavation of tunnel, includes pressing inner plates 14, 22 and outer plates 7, 21 defining the inner and outer surfaces of the lining wall into a natural ground, constructing a plate framework structure 32 inside the natural ground, discharging earth and sand inside the plate framework structure 32, placing concrete, and constructing the lining wall.
