PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rock crusher suitable for rock-breaking process in civil engineering, mining, quarrying or the like, and capable of moving a rock breaking machine and changing the direction thereof easily and safely. SOLUTION: This rock crusher 1 consists of a rock breaking machine 3 for crushing rock by inserting a wedge rod into a lower hole drilled in the rock in advance and enlarging the wedge rod by means of hydraulic pressure, and a supporting device 2 supporting the rock breaking machine 3. A plurality of rollers parallel with its shaft center are mounted on the outer periphery of the rock breaking machine 3 along the circumferential direction at prescribed intervals, and the supporting device 2 is provided with a hoisting device hoisting the rock breaking machine 3, a receiving device rotatably bearing the side surface of the rock breaking machine 3, and a gear engaging with the rollers of the rock breaking machine 3 and forcibly rotating the rock breaking machine 3 around its axis.
