PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to keep proper engagement position of driving gear and pinion gear at driven side in bevel gear mechanism. SOLUTION: This driving device conveys rotational power of crankshaft 3 of engine unit 1 to countershaft driving oil pump placed at vertical position to crankshaft through bevel gear mechanism 8. Here, pinion gear 12 at driven side is positioned always elastically energized toward thrust direction counter to engagement direction of driving gear 8.
