PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly teach a transferring condition to a station by bringing a mark on the station into contact with a contact sensor, determining a two-dimensional coordinate of the mark, and determining a transferring condition on the basis of the determined two-dimensional coordinate. SOLUTION: In this teaching method of a conveying system, a teaching unit 34 provide with a contact panel such as a touch panel 36 for determining a two-dimensional coordinate is held on a conveying device in a state that the contact panel is faced to a station 6 side. A mark on the station 6 is brought into contact with a contact sensor to determine a two-dimensional coordinate of the mark, and a transferring condition is determined on the basis of the determined two-dimensional coordinate to be taught to a conveying device. This teaching method dispenses with expensive image recognizing device and camera, further dispenses with the adjustment of lighting or the like, and can execute the teaching by quickly determining the transferring condition.
