SOLUTION: The variable display control circuit of this slot machine can control the variable display of the plurality of variable display parts of a variable display device to either a normal predetermined rotation pattern or specific rotation patterns different from the normal pattern. When a starting lever is operated, a game control circuit performs an action enhancing process (SG6) by selecting either of the specific rotation patterns and causing the variable display device to provide variable display before the final display results of the plurality of variable display parts are derived and displayed (SG3, SG4).
