PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an object to which an image is transferred by which a transferred image especially having a good feeling is easily obtained, when the image formed on the transfer layer of a transfer medium is transferred to the surface of a medium to which the image is transferred and thereby the object is manufactured. SOLUTION: An image is formed on the transfer layer of a transfer medium and a medium to which an image is transferred is superposed on the transfer layer side, and the image is thermally transferred under pressure to the surface of the medium to which the image is transferred. In this case, a component to increase the transfer temperature of the non-image part of the transfer layer is imparted to the non-image part prior to a transfer action, and the transfer layer is thermally pressed at a higher temperature than the transfer temperature of the image part of the transfer layer and a lower temperature than the transfer temperature of the non-image part to transfer the image. |
