PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition useful for proplylaris of the relapse, symptom mitigation or therapy of the limbs joint pain including coxarthrosis, chronic articular rheumatism and shoulder joint pain, lumbago and sciatica by including specific polyphenols and a chitin decomposition product. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by including (A) at least one ingredient selected from the group consisting of (i9 polyphenols obtained from vitaceous plants (pref. resveratrols, catechins or flavonols) and (ii) collagen derivatives (pref. a collagen hydrolyzate 250-20,000 in molecular weight) and (B) a chitin decomposition product (pref. glucosamine, N-acetylglucosamine or the like). It is preferable that this composition contains >=10 wt.% of collagen plus derivative(s) thereof and has an acidity of >=1.1. |
