PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent portable property by winding a first electrode to directly make contact with a part of the body on the inside and a second electrode to be touched by a user in measurement on the surface in the user by use of a belt. SOLUTION: In use, a body 1 is installed to the wrist of a user by use of a belt 4, and a first electrode 5 provided on the inside of the body 1 is brought into contact with the wrist of the user. The palm or finger of the hand opposite to the installation side of the body 1 is pressed to a second electrode 6 provided on the surface of the body 1. A constant current is supplied from an impedance measuring means to the human body through both the electrodes 5 and 6 to measure the voltage of a closed circuit formed by the impedance between both the hands. The impedance is calculated on the basis of the measured voltage information, the body fat quantity and body fat rate of the user are calculated from the impedance and the physical information for the user preliminarily inputted by an operation means 2, and the result is displayed on a display means 3. |
