PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device using a tongue plate hardly causing twist in a webbing or abrasion in edges of the webbing without enlarging a shape. SOLUTION: In this seat belt device restraining an occupant onto a seat, a tongue plate 1 includes a belt insertion part 12 formed with a webbing insertion hole 14 through which a webbing is inserted, and an engagement part 11 engaged with a buckle. A shape of the webbing insertion hole 14 includes a linear part 14a linear in the webbing width direction, having a nearly uniform width; and first and second curve parts 14b, 14c obliquely extending toward the buckle engagement part 11 from both ends of the linear part 14a, each having a nearly same width as the line part 14a. |
