PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend freshness holding time (shelf life) of beech champignon longer than before and to suppress generation and growth of hyphae in air. SOLUTION: A beech champignon is placed in a tray container 1 formed of an A-PET sheet, and adhered and fixed by a lap film 2 with an oxygen permeability of 3,500-6,000 (cc/m2.24 hr) and carbon dioxide permeability of 20,000-30,000 (cc/m2.24 hr). The inside of the tray container 1 can be kept in an optimum environment for preservation of freshness. Therefore, it is possible to extend freshness holding time of the beech champignon longer than before and to hardly generate hyphae in air on the beech champignon. In addition, it is possible to decrease loss of the content.
