PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure water jetting device capable of efficiently peeling off the surface layer of an object by the high pressure water in accordance with characteristics of the surface layer and also capable of reducing the manpower required for the working. SOLUTION: In this high pressure water jetting device for peeling off the surface layer of the object by jetting the high pressure water from a nozzle 22, plural jetting ports 23 and 24 formed at the nozzle for jetting the high pressure water and a switching mechanism 25 for stopping the high pressure water flow to the prescribed jetting port 24 and guiding the high pressure water to the remaining jetting port 23 are provided.
