<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a competitive fighting game in which tactics of 'waiting' condition, 'escape' condition or player's intention of ring-out are difficult by producing ring images surrounding plural characters, and controlling so that the ring images move according to movement of the plural characters. SOLUTION: Characters 1P and 2P are operated by players to match each other within a range surrounded by rings 101 displayed on a display image plane 100 of a TV monitor. These rings 101 and characters 1P and 2P are converted from polygon data on a virtual three-dimensional space to two-dimensional coordinates to be displayed, and the display is controlled so that the rings 101 move following movement of the characters 1P and 2P and the size can be changed. In attacks from character 1P, the timer corresponding to character 2P is started to count, and according to the count value, the ring 101 of the character 2p side is contracted by one step to place the character 2P side in a disadvantageous state.</p> |
