PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at a long service life of a bush in a vertical mill for subjecting the matter to be crushed to compression crushing by compression between a rotary table and a crushing roller. SOLUTION: In a supporting shaft 7, a roller is supported to a bearing 10 fixed to a casing through a sleeve 11 and the bush 12. The sleeve 11 is made of an iron based rigid metal and the bush 12 is made of a gun metal, and the sleeve 11 is put on the supporting shaft 7 by interference fit and the bush 12 is put on the bearing 10 by clearance fit, respectively, to enable the bush 12 to rotate against the bearing 10 and the sleeve 11. In such a way, the bush 12 is rotated to a peripheral direction in order by the repetition of the rocking of the roller and wear place is moved. Thus, uneven wear is not caused and the service life of bush 12 is improved.
