PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for a lid body of favorable operability and simple constitution. SOLUTION: The opening/closing face 10a of a case body 10 is provided with an engaging projection 12 projectingly provided toward the lid body 11, and a lock mechanism 13 provided on the opposite face to the case body 10 of the lid body 11 and locked/unlocked with the engaging projection 12, and the lock mechanism 13 is constituted of a hook member 14 elastically engaged with the outside face of the engaging projection 12, and an operation button 15 slidably fitted to the cover body 11, projectingly provided from the surface side of the lid body 11, and releasing the engaging condition of the hook member 14 and the engaging projection 12 by pressingly deforming the hook member 14.
