PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbing article excellent in deodorizing effect and not leaking an offensive smell of excretion to the outside. SOLUTION: This absorbing article 1 consists of a surface sheet 21, a liquid impermeable leak-proof sheet 22 and a liquid-holdable absorbent 10 and contains a porous deodorant. In this case, the porous deodorant has pores so that the vol. of pores with a pore size or 20-200Åbecomes 0.2 ml or more, pref., 0.6 ml or more per 1 g of the porous deodorant.
