PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling performance of an engine of construction machinery and agricultural machinery such as a hydraulic shovel, a self-loader, a bulldozer, a wheel loader, a crawler-type loader (hereinafter, referred to as construction machinery), and to improve the maintenance thereof while facilitating fixing and unfixing of elements of an intake air cleaner in the separate cooling structure of an engine and cooler. SOLUTION: A cab 10 is provided at a front end 1a of construction machinery in the fore-and-aft direction thereof, and a cooler 100 for operation of the construction machinery is provided between an engine 8 arranged in the rear of the cab 10. An intake air cleaner 22 of the engine 8 is provided in a recessed part 15 provided in a loading material 14 of the engine 8 arranged in the rear of the construction machinery so that at least one part thereof is housed therein, and an element 38 of an air cleaner 32 can be easily exchanged.
