PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a roof structure allowing a roof of even a high building to be constructed with high efficiency without depending on a total scaffolding construction method or a lift-up construction method. SOLUTION: A plurality of truss frame members 4 are arranged in a plane mesh state to construct a roof structure of circular dome shape. At this time, a plurality of roof structure bodies 6 are formed of a plurality of truss frame members 4. These roof structure bodies 6 are installed while being jointed in order from the eaves part side to the ridge part side of a roof 2, and a tension member 8 or 9 for pulling the ridge part side end part to the outside of the roof 2 is fitted to each roof structure body 6. The tension member 8 is fitted along a roof face, and the tension member 9 is obliquely fitted toward the inside of the roof 2. The horizontal tension members 8 and the oblique tension members 9 are alternately fitted to a plurality of roof structure bodies adjacent in the pitch direction of the roof 2. The roof structure body 6 is formed in W-shape or V-shape in plane.
