PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease trap capable of ideally coping with kitchen drainage containing various kinds of fats and oils, constantly maintaining high fat and oil decomposition efficiency and reducing the purchase cost of fat and oil decomposing bacteria or fat and oil decomposing enzyme. SOLUTION: This grease trap is partitioned into a foreign matter eliminating part 2 provided with a strainer 7 for separating foreign matters in drainage; a fat and oil treatment part 3 comprising a floatation separating part 4 for floatation-separating fat and oil in drainage rid of foreign matters, and a fat and oil decomposing part 5 for decomposing floatation-separated fat and oil with fat and oil decomposing bacteria or fat and oil decomposing enzyme; and a trap part 6 for storing and draining treated water separated from fat and oil. The fat and oil decomposing part 5 is additionally provided with an aeration means and an air lifting mean 11 for circulating lower drainage in the fat and oil decomposing part 5 to the floatation separating part 4.
