PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure having excellent increase in efficiency ad safety of the fixing work by supporting a safety arrangement provided between a moving handrail and a fixed matter such as ceiling for forming a wedge-like space adjacently to the moving handrail by a support column fixed to a railing base part. SOLUTION: This arrangement is located adjacently to the moving handrail 1B and a railing 1F and fixed to the support column 5 fixed to the railing base part 1D and a railing side plate 1E in the wedge-like space formed between the moving handrail 1B and the fixed matter 2 having an inclination different from the moving handrail 1B. This arrangement generally called a triangular guard plate is formed of two kinds of safety arrangements 3C and the like of a first safety arrangement retained in a rockable suspended state from the support column 5 by a free chain and a second safety arrangement 3C fixed to the support column 5 by a small screw 3d unrockable in the deep rear part of the first safety arrangement. Since this safety arrangement is mounted on the single support column 5, the labor for the mounting work can be saved.
