PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device capable of reducing the installation area for the sheet processing device for conducting sheet process like sheet collation, mounting or sewing and an image forming device equipped with the processing device. SOLUTION: A sheet conveyed from a device body 100 is collated and mounted on a processing tray 6 of a sheet processing part 1A and sewed by a stapler unit 10. After this, a bundle of sheets is conveyed (as it is bundled) by a bundle conveying belt to a stack tray 18 of a stack part 1B. By arranging a sheet processing device 1 at the upper part of the device body like this, the installation area for the device as a whole can be reduced.
