PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a shaft selection device of torque optimum for a golfer which particularly enables the golfer to select the shaft of the torque optimum for himself relating to the shaft selection device of the torque optimum for the golfer. SOLUTION: This selection device enables the golfer to select the shaft of the optimum torque by swinging a golf club 1 and hitting a golf ball 10. A display of a housing type which displays the quantity of the torsion generated at the shaft when the golfer makes a swing as a numerical value is provided. Further, the numerical value of the display and the speed of a club head at the time of impact are read, by which the shaft of the torque optimum for the golfer may be provided.
