PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately sense the temperature of a recording head without influence of the noise, or the like by sending the temperature of the recording head by a head unit by a plurality of times so as to produce a digital signal, sending the same to a main unit after determination thereof, and executing the recording control of a recording head based on the received digital signal. SOLUTION: A head unit senses the temperature information of a recording head, and applies an A/D conversion thereto for determining digital temperature information. A main unit having a main PCB (E0014) is advised thereof from a contact FPC (E0011) in contact with the head unit via a CRFFC (E0012). Thereby, an A/D conversion process with respect to the temperature information need not be executed at the device side for a recording head analog signal on the main unit side so that an exclusive control with respect to the other A/D conversion processes can be eliminated. Moreover, since the temperature information transferred to the main unit is a digital signal, influence of the noise during the data transfer can be reduced.
