PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently join and seal an orifice plate and a member constituting a nozzle. SOLUTION: A heater board 1 with a discharge heater for discharging ink, and a top plate 5 with an ink feed port 9 are joined, thereby forming a nozzle 7 and an ink liquid chamber 8. An orifice plate 6 having an ink discharge port is joined to an end part of the nozzle 7 of the heater board 1 and the top plate 5. Since a joining region is narrow and the orifice plate 6 has a large non-joining region, the orifice plate can be efficiently joined to the end part. A sealing frame body 31 is formed to cover the joined parts. The joined parts can be efficiently sealed by sealing together at once.
