PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the favorable boxing of articles while keeping their arrayed state even in the case where they have problems difficult to be sucked and held like articles or the like for bagging. SOLUTION: Accumulated articles W are delivered from a conveyor 12 for conveying the articles W onto a movable bed 18 moved up to a delivery position, and their underfaces are supported thereon. The movable bed 18 moves to a boxing position, and the articles W are transferred by an article pusher 25 up to the boxing position where the underfaces of the articles W are supported on the movable bed 18. The articles W at the boxing position are pinchingly held by the article pusher 25 and a pinchingly holding member 36. The support of the underfaces of the articles W at the boxing position is released by the movement of the movable bed 18 to the delivery position. By pushing the articles W pinchingly held by the article pusher 25 and the pinchingly holding member 36 with a push-down pusher 38 from above, the articles W are packed into a packaging box 22 located at a standby position.
