PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag closing tool for closing a bag into the coin pouch shape regardless of the sizes of articles to be stored and also provide a coin pouch using the tool. SOLUTION: As an opening 21 of a bag 20 can be closed by a closing tool 1 to be inserted into an inner space encircled by strings 2A and 2B in the state of setting an opening of the bag 20 to be slightly opened, a string-through element and a pulling-out opening are not required to be formed on the bag 20 in compliance with the sizes of the bags 20 even when the inner space is smaller than the opening 21 of the bag 20, which is different from the settings heretofore available, and the opening 21 of the bags 20 of different sides can be closed simply by one closing tool 1.
