PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the reversion of a switching gear in the end of switching by supplying a fixed direct current to the excitation coil of an AC motor when the interrupted state of drive current of the AC motor is detected. SOLUTION: When the normal or reverse movement of a turnout is performed by a motor control circuit (a), a prescribed AC is supplied to the excitation coil of a motor M through a supply power switching circuit (e). The supplying state of the AC is monitored by a current detecting circuit (b) and a comparative circuit (c). When the switching of the turnout is ended, and the stop of supply of AC is detected by the comparative circuit (c), a prescribed DC set in a current value and time setting circuit (g) is supplied from a DC constant current generating circuit (d) to the excitation coil of the motor M for a prescribed time. Accordingly, a braking force is generated in the rotor of the motor M, and the reversion can be effectively prevented.
