METHOD FOR CONTROLLING BATCH TYPE APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING ELECTROLYTIC WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision of the concentration of the effective compo nent of electrolytic water obtained by a batch type apparatus for producing electrolytic water. SOLUTION: A batch type apparatus for producing electrolytic water produces electrolytic water by the electrolysis of raw water by a pair of electrodes 12, 13 which was installed in an electrolytic cell 10 in which a prescribed amount of the raw water is placed in the cell 10. In this method, the concentration of the effective component of produced electrolytic water is controlled on the basis of the integrated value of the electrolytic current passing between the electrodes. This method is also applicable to a batch type apparatus for producing electrolytic water in which a prescribed amount of raw water is circulated between a housing tank and the electrolytic cell 10 to be electrolyzed by a pair of electrodes installed in the electrolytic cell to produce electrolytic water.
