PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set and tie hair up for an evening party even by oneself by sandwiching hair between an opening/closing free main body and opening/closing plate, winding the hair together with the main body as it is, and inserting one sandwiching piece into a predetermined location of the main body and the other into the hair. SOLUTION: A main body plate 1 is a rectangular plate body made of a synthetic resin with one curved side surface approximately, formed in the shape of a hollow prism body, and is provided with an insertion part 2. An opening/ closing plate 3 is made of the same material as the main body plate 1, and the main body plate 1 and opening/closing plate 3 are freely rotated with a shaft 4 as the center of rotation to constitute a hair clip. At the time of use, hair is lightly pulled backward and bundled and sandwiched between the main body plate 1 and opening/closing plate 3 at a midpoint location, and the main body plate 1 is half rotated as it is and further slightly rotated to bring the hair into a wound set state. Then one sandwiching piece 7 is inserted into the insertion part 2 of the main body plate 1, and the other sandwiching piece 7 is inserted into the hair to complete the setting of the hair.
