PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe pulling in type pipe burying machine capable of burying large diameter buried pipes, having been buried by a pipe propulsion type pipe burying machine, easily even in a city where environmental protection is requested and many narrow roads are present, having a base used for the other construction, low in cost, easy in use, and/or new completely. SOLUTION: This pipe pulling-in type pipe burying machine is formed so that a long rod 5 is driven from one ground surface to the other ground surface while jointing so as to drill a pilot hole 8 under the ground, and a buried pipe 4 is connected to the tip of the rod 5 arriving at the other ground surface and the rod 5 is pulled into one surface through the pilot hole 8 so as to bury the buried pipe 4 under the ground. The pipe burying machine comprises a long rod support frame 23 having a rod drive mechanism 23a allowing the rod 5 supported jointably to be driven and pulled in, an arm (30) elevatably supporting the support frame (23) at the tip thereof, and a base 21e disposed freely on a ground surface near one ground surface and allowing the arm 30 to be elevated by supporting the base end of the arm 30.
