METHOD FOR JOINING METALLIC CYLINDRICAL BODY AND METALLIC CONTAINER PRODUCED BY THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve yield at production and to improve productivity. SOLUTION: The connecting end (bottom end opening 18) of a first cylindrical body (barrel body 16) of <=0.5 mm in wall thickness is provided with an outwardy curving flange 19 of <=1 mm in its projecting length and further, the connecting end (top end opening 22) of a second cylindrical body (bottom body 20) of approximately the same diameter as the diameter of the connecting end of the first cylindrical body and <=0.5 mm in thickness is provided with an outwarby curving flange 23 of <=1 mm in its projecting length. The flanges 19 and 23 of these cylindrical bodies are butted and superposed on other and are welded in such a state, by which both flanges 19 and 23 are melted and both cylindrical bodies are joined to each other. The flanges 19 and 23 of at least either one cylindrical body of the first and second cylindrical bodies are curved outward and are formed by spinning.
