PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic locking device for a door capable of easily insuring safety and surely and automatically operating. SOLUTION: This automatic locking device for the door is provided with a latch 30 provided on a door frame 20, a lock arm 36 provided on the door 21, a lock arm drive mechanism 40 swinging the lock arm 36, a lock sensor 61 and an unlock sensor 62 respectively detecting the lock and unlock conditions of the lock arm 36, a door sensor 64 detecting the opening/closing condition of a door 21, a buzzer 65 informing the half-opened condition of the door 21, a key input means 66 provided inside the door 21 and inputting the unlock command of the lock arm 36, and a control device 50 sending a signal making the lock arm 36 into the unlocked condition and making the lock arm 36 into the locked condition when the door 21 is moved from the opened condition to the closed condition.
