PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically unload the articles stacked on the deck of a truck one by one without using man-power. SOLUTION: An article W is pushed up by advancing an article scooping conveyor 5 toward the article W while activating an endless conveyor belt 48 so that a part of the endless conveyor belt 48 abutting on the tip section of a tip belting section 46 moves upward until the endless conveyor belt 48 is pressed against the lower section of the perpendicular face of the article W at the top of the stacked articles W. In addition, the tip section of the endless conveyor belt 48 is made to slide under the bottom face of the article W by advancing the article scooping conveyor 5 to place the article W on the endless conveyor belt 48.
