PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the connection structure of the tire molding drum in a tire molding apparatus capable of shortening the replacing work time of the tire molding drum to enhance the efficiency in tire manufacturing work. SOLUTION: A taper hole 23a is provided at the main shaft 23 supported by the revolving drum drive box of a tire molding apparatus and the taper shaft cylinder 27 fitted in the taper hole 23a is provided to the shaft cylinder 26 of a first tire molding drum 16. A ring cam holder 31 holding a ring cam 35 through an attaching flange 23b is attached to the leading end part of a main shaft 23. Locking bars 36, 37 are interposed between the ring cam 35 and the ring cam holder 31 and engaged with the separation preventing ridge 29 provided to the taper shaft cylinder 27 by the revolution of the ring cam 35 to prevent the separation of the taper shaft cylinder 27 from the taper hole 23a.
