发明名称 REGENERATION OF INDIVIDUAL LILIUM PLANT
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of efficiently regenerating individuals of Lilium to cross different lines, which is impossible by the usual method, by dedifferentiating the Lilium plant tissues to derive the calluses and differentiating them under a specific condition. SOLUTION: This method comprises steps of (A) dedifferentiating the Lilium plant tissues as the original species or species to be cultured, (B) purifying the protoplast, e.g. fused protoplast, obtained by fusing the cells of different lines of the Lilium from the cultured calluses, (C) nurse culturing the purified protoplast, (D) deriving the calluses from the protoplast colonies obtained by the nurse culturing, and (E) differentiating the cultured calluses, in order to regenerate the Lilium plant individuals. It is preferable that the nurse culturing serves as the culturing of the protoplast embedded in a solid medium in the presence of the nursed cells, and that the nursed cells are those obtained by the passage culturing, in a liquid medium, the calluses derived from the shoot apex culturing.
