PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the operation load on an operator of a reaper harvester provided with a pretreating part having adjustable lateral position and prevent the trouble of inadequate lateral position of the pretreating part caused by misoperation or neglected operation. SOLUTION: The objective combine is provided with a pretreating part 2 to reap culms at the front side of a mobile machine, a pretreatment shifting motor to adjust the lateral position of the pretreating part relative to the mobile machine, an automatic direction controlling means to carry out the automatic steering of the mobile machine according to the detected position of the pretreating part 2 relative to the unreaped culm and an automatic direction controlling switch to switch the ON/OFF of the automatic direction controlling means. The pretreating part is automatically shifted to a position deviated to the side of the unreaped field relative to the mobile machine when the automatic direction control switch is set to the ON state.
