PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device capable of properly allocating the functions of an image control device to operating switches according to the structure of the operating switches of an endoscope image device. SOLUTION: The functions of a switch 35 are allocated by a switch function allocation processing part of a video processor according to a switch structure information from a switch structure information holding circuit 41 of an endoscope image device 1. Then, the functions allocated according to the switch structure are executed by a switch function execution control part according to the functions of the switch.
