PURPOSE: An automatic control method of the number of automatic re-dialing of a facsimile according to an automatic transmission success ratio is provided to automatically control the automatic re-dialing frequency according to receiving telephone numbers. CONSTITUTION: An automatic control method of the number of automatic re-dialing of a facsimile according to an automatic transmission success ratio includes the steps of checking a number of times of automatic transmission connection fail within an automatic re-dialing number preset in a receiving telephone number(103), automatically resetting the preset automatic re-dialing number after increasing if the number of times that the receiving telephone number is failed to be connected is higher than a previous number of times of fail(104,105), re-trying the connection for the automatic transmission according to the reset number of times of the automatic re-dialing(107), and storing the automatic transmission result according to the success or failure of the connection try for the automatic transmission(108).
