PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antifouling coating composition having excellent antifouling effects and coating operation efficiency and further capable of sustaining the antifouling effects over a long period. SOLUTION: This antifouling coating composition is characterized in that the coating composition comprises (a) a triphenylborane-organic amine complex and (b) a tetraalkylthiuram disulfide represented by formula (1) (wherein, R1s are each the same or different and denote each a >=2C straight chain or a >=2C branched alkyl group) and the organic amine in the triphenylborane-organic amine complex (a) is a 6-18C amine.
