Each of the pair of shanks has a groove for the return spring and its supporting member, seat for the reloading lever and seat for the locking member in its breech, making up a movable joint with the locking member shank with the aid of the locking lugs and grooves, installed for longitudinal motion relative to the breechblock housing.
