SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method one of races of lubricated bearing is rotated at working speed, radial force of constant value is applied to bearing and integrated parameter of bearing lubrication on different sections of path of race under checking covering entire working surface of race is measured. Quality of race path is judged basing on characteristic of function of parameter value from angle coordinate of center of section. When taking each measurement, direction of radial force action is aligned with center of section of race path under checking. Direction of path ovality is found by arguments of minimum of the second harmonic of function, when checking outer race, or by arguments of maximum of the second harmonic of function, when checking inner race. EFFECT: improved accuracy diagnosing owing to revealing direction of ovality of race under checking. 4 dwg
