PURPOSE: A novel woohwang chungsimwon composition containing no Moschus is provided. The prepared composition has the same pharmacological effects as that of common woohwang chungsimwon composition. CONSTITUTION: The novel woohwang chungsimwon composition contains 190 to 370 wt.% of Dioscoreae Radix, 140 to 270 wt.% of Glycyrrizae Radix, 60 to 130 wt.% of white ginseng, 70 to 130 wt.% of Typha orientalis PRESL., 70 to 130 wt.% of Massa medicata fermentata, 40 to 100 wt.% of Glycine max L. Merr., 40 to 100 wt.% of cinnamon, 40 to 100 wt.% of glue, 30 to 90 wt.% of Paeoniae Radix, 30 to 90 wt.% of Liriope platyphylla WANG., 30 to 90 wt.% of Scutellaria baicalensis GEORGI., 30 to 90 wt.% of Angelicae Gigantis Radix, 30 to 90 wt.% of Phelloterus Littoralis Bentham, 30 to 90 wt.% of Atractylodis Rhizoma alba, 30 to 70 wt.% of Bupleurum falcatum l., 30 to 70 wt.% of Platycodon grandiflorum, 30 to 70 wt.% of Prunus armeniaca l., 30 to 70 wt.% of Poria cocos WOLF, 30 to 70 wt.% of Cnidium rhizome, 10 to 20 wt.% of Bezoar Bovis, 20 to 50 wt.% of Antelopis Cornu, 20 to 60 wt.% of borneol, 15 to 45 wt.% of Ampelopsis japonica, 15 to 45 wt.% of Zingiberis Rhizoma, 10 to 30 wt.% of jang nyoi sam, and 300 to 700 wt.% of Acori Graminei Rhizoma.
