plastic metal working, namely, manufacture of monolithic rough railway road axles in three-roll mill for helical rolling, possibly rolling monolithic periodic shapes. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of guiding initial blank with diameter equal to that of subboss to rolling mill; rolling leading neck and presubboss at applying end-push effort; after rolling leading neck and presubboss drawing rolls apart by value of elastic deformation of initial blank. Subboss is formed by rolling out initial blank being moved by predetermined value of length of subboss. Rolling of subbosses, mean portion, rear presubboss and neck of monolithic rough railway road axle may be performed at applying axial tension effort or axial end-push effort. Initial blank may be made of continuously cast metal. Diameter of initial blank before its heating for rolling is equal to 1.005-1.01 of subboss diameter.
