The concrete cross beam incorporates longitudinal reinforcement (3',3,4,6) and has at least two devices (5) for the fixture of rails. The reinforcement is not pre-tensioned and has a tensile strength of at least 200 N/mm2 together with a total cross-section at the level of the devices for strengthening the rails of at least 100 mm2. The concrete has a characteristic pressure strength of at least 40 N/mm2 and the concrete body at the location of the devices for fixture of the rails has a width of at least 150 mm and a height of at least 100 mm. The devices for fixture of the light rails are made of plastic.
