<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for switching the layout of an information monitoring system (10). SOLUTION: The layout (39) which is the set of graphic components relating to activity being monitored is switched when the state of the monitoring system (10) changes. The system (10) decides the set of components in use at the moment relating to the present layout, decides the set of functions in use at the moment of the system and decides the corresponding relation of the set of the components and the set of the functions in use at the moment. Then, the layouts of one group are examined and the corresponding relation of the components of the layouts within the layout group and the set of the functions in use at the moment of the system is decided. In the case that one of the layouts within the layout group corresponds to the set of the functions in use at the moment of the system more closely than the present layout, the layout is changed over.</p> |
