PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a certifying device, capable of preventing forgeries and abuses of electronic signature. SOLUTION: A logical operation part 212 generates an encoded electronic signature by performing an arithmetic operation to an original signature 23, using unique information obtained by digitalizing information in relation to the body of the person in question. An electronic signature adding part 214 distributes an electronic document 25, by adding the electronic signature to it. Consequently, the specifying of the person in question becomes difficult, and prevention of the forgery and the abuse of the electronic signature becomes possible. As a result, protection of privacy and property of individual in a market is enabled.
